Start for "initiative. marktführer. hannover."

 

 

Several companies from Region Hanover have joined forces under the agency of "initiative. marktführer. hannover." The goal of the network is to meet demographic change and the shortage of skilled workers together to open new paths in the regional and supraregional acquisition of qualified students and skilled personnel.The founders of this initiative include the companies Bahlsen, Hüttenes-Albertus Chemische Werke, Jaeger Group of Companies, KIND Hörgeräte, Sennheiser electronic, WAGNER Group, VSM Vereinigte Schmirgel- und Maschinen-Fabriken.These seven companies are only the beginning. The network will grow. Companies which may associate themselves are those with:- a global market or position of market leadership- their own research department or product development with international relevance- and headquarters or a company unit in Region Hanover.The initiator and strategic partner of this network is the employment promotion of Region Hanover which consistent with its engagement to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the Hanover region, has assumed a leading role in promoting foundation of the network. The General Employer's Association for Hanover and Environment (AGV) could be won as an additional partner and provided significant support to this association especially during its foundation phase.

Unified personnel marketing, the concentration of resources and expertise at the Hanover location – this was the motivation and point of origin for the foundation and official starting shot for the network "initiative. marktführer. hannover." on 7 April 2011.

 

 

 

ZUKUNFTINC. Network – Supraregional Promotion for Hanover

 
The outward face of the initiative is the trademark ZUKUNFTINC., through which the companies engage in unified promotion throughout Germany. In addition to the joint Internet portal

which consolidates job offerings, news and activities from all the companies, trade fair exhibits and advertising campaigns at ten additional universities during the 2011 summer semester are planned. Also in this year, presence in social networks à la Facebook & Co. should begin. One primary focus will be the targeted approach to students. In this regard, the initiative offers special offerings such as application training and career information. In cooperation with the Career Service of the University of Applied Sciences and Leibniz University Hanover, practice-oriented workshops and lecture series are in preparation for students who will also start this year, in order to familiarize the students with this network.
